You are about to E-file a 2025 (pay 2026) Form-130 with the Elkhart County Assessor's office, know that the normal window for filing any previous year's assessment has passed. For ease of processing, the following form includes Section I & II of the Indiana State Appeal Form 130, which are the only portions used by the vast majority of petitioners each year contesting their value. 

Provide an email which you will monitor for communications pertaining to your petition with us. This is the easiest form of communication and allows transfer of documents easier than through the postal service for both parties.

To attach documents to your appeal, left of the form is a paperclip emblem - use that or you can email support documents after the fact to assessor@elkhartcounty.com and note the property and the appeal it needs added to.

**Please note that some mobile devices (specifically cell phones) with certain operating systems struggle with the verification process in signing and completing the online filing. Just know completing on a desktop or laptop we have had no issues reported.
